The most expensive driveway would be sandstone paving, not only is the sandstone the most expensive material to purchase it also takes the longest to lay., it does however look the best (in my opinion) and gives a real wow factor to your entrance.

Gravel requires the most maintenance, with raking, weed control and periodic topping up to replace lost stones.
